Hi - I’m Yahia 👋🏽. I used to spend a big chunk of my time trying to come up with the perfect productivity system, find the perfect apps, and create the perfect Notion templates. If I’m honest with myself, all this work didn’t make me more productive and didn’t even make me more organized.
Notion’s amazing flexibility was working against me - I was constantly stressed about deadlines, spending hours and hours planning my days and weeks, and not getting much done. I needed an opinionated, simple system that would get me out of planning and into doing.
That’s why I created Dreamtask, an app that takes planning out of my hands so I have no choice but to work. But I didn’t want “another app”. I designed it to work in the background. The better it works, the less I notice it. This is how most apps should be.
